Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Mondego FC's zone, Nuno Aguiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Leão came out of the goal and Nuno Aguiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. André Castro came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Mondego FC's Carlos Valente. But to his dismay, Carlos Valente quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Pedro Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Carlos Valente ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. André Castro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Manuel Amaral was extremely unlucky when he, in the 21st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. A collision led to SC Veladas getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Bruno Viana hit a great ball. Fernando Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Amaral in the 40th minute of the match. Artur Leite kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 46th minute of the match Júlio Resende shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernando Leão showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 48 minutes into the game, one of SC Veladas:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 50th minute there was a penalty for Mondego FC. Álvaro Pedroso stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving André Castro. 2-3.

After a defensive mix-up in Mondego FC's zone, Manuel Amaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Leão came out of the goal and Manuel Amaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manuel Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Fernando Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mondego FC's goalkeeper Fernando Leão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Cristóvão Araújo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernando Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. André Castro was a little too slow when Pedro Almeida got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 2-4. After 73 played minutes Mondego FC got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Oliveira. In the 80thth minute of the game Nuno Aguiar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mondego FC's Fernando Leão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Manuel Amaral might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernando Leão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manuel Amaral ran back to his position shaking his head. Carlos Valente struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. André Castro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mondego FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Almeida in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck André Castro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Mondego FC's Manuel Oliveira got a free kick in the 96th minute. The supporters of SC Veladas booed when Mondego FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 99 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Oliveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. The SC Veladas supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mondego FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Mondego FC.
