Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Artur Horta took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Jacob Camacho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peso FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacob Camacho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaime Valido breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peso FC's Leonel Salvado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guilherme Figueiras in the 15th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC cochos's zone, Jacob Camacho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaime Valido came out of the goal and Jacob Camacho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Artur Horta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Plácido Simões's late challenge caught a Peso FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Plácido Simões helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC cochos getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Plácido Simões hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, FC cochos's goalkeeper Jaime Valido had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacob Camacho. In the 30th minute, Artur Horta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristiano Mourato was shown his second yellow card after 33 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 34 played minutes Peso FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Mourato. 0-1 became the score in the 38th minute when Guilherme Figueiras elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Marcelo Marinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Salvado having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaime Valido was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jacob Camacho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Jaime Valido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Jacob Camacho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Veríssimo Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peso FC's Jacob Camacho got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th minute Guilherme Figueiras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Salvado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacob Camacho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peso FC. 88 minutes into the game, Peso FC's Jacob Camacho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jaime Valido made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Artur Horta might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jaime Valido. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Artur Horta ran back to his position shaking his head. Jacob Camacho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Peso FC fully deserved thier win.
