Lourenço Marques's late challenge caught a Fontao FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lourenço Marques helped the player get up and apologised. If Mário Pedroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fábio Lages recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, Fontao FC's André Ferreira threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leonardo Fiúza, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 27th minute of the game Pedro Sanches made a throw-in which Fábio Lages played forward. A sloppy throw-in by Pedro Sanches in the 31st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Morcheeba's Lourenço Marques. In the 32nd minute Mário Pedroso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caio Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Morcheeba's André Ferreira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Morcheeba from getting a goal against them. After taking down the ball on Morcheeba's corner Álvaro Leiria fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Caio Castro quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Fontao FC's Emanuel Azeredo got a free kick in the 68th minute. Mário Pedroso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Caio Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. André Ferreira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fontao FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
