Eduardo Brito's late challenge caught a Aldriz FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eduardo Brito helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Olival fc's Eduardo Brito got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Simão Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olival fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Simão Martins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Timóteo Branco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Timóteo Branco came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Olival fc's João Neves. But to his dismay, João Neves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Olival fc's Simão Martins was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 14th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. André Vital sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Timóteo Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simão Martins in the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, Simão Martins lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Timóteo Branco. The audience was convinced that Simão Martins's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Timóteo Branco was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Timóteo Branco acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 28th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Alfredo Carvalho. Simão Martins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Timóteo Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Sebastião Salgado fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aldriz FC's protests and gave Sebastião Salgado a yellow card for diving instead. Sebastião Salgado hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastião Salgado in the 34th minute of play forced Olival fc's goalkeeper Bento Anjos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolas Carmo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bento Anjos. Olival fc's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 42nd minute of the match Orlando Farias shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Timóteo Branco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Olival fc's Alfredo Carvalho got a free kick in the 47th minute. In the 48th minute, Sebastião Salgado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Bento Anjos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastião Salgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute Sebastião Salgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bento Anjos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simão Martins in the 65th minute of play forced Aldriz FC's goalkeeper Timóteo Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Sebastião Salgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Pedro Gaspar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastião Salgado was shown his second yellow card after 70 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Simão Martins took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Timóteo Branco. Timóteo Branco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Timóteo Branco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simão Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Aldriz FC's Timóteo Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simão Martins in the 84th minute of play. Albertino Araújo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Timóteo Branco. Aldriz FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. João Neves scored 5-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Timóteo Branco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eduardo Brito took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Timóteo Branco. Aldriz FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, João Neves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Timóteo Branco. Aldriz FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that João Neves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Olival fc's João Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Aldriz FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Olival fc.
