Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Paulo Fragoso kicked off to start the match. After recieving a nice pass, Tires's Ricardo Amaral tried to score from far away in the 5th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Alcanhoes's Adalberto Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Dantas in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Dantas in the 14th minute of play forced Alcanhoes's goalkeeper Adalberto Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Pedro Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tires's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Torres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adalberto Vale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adalberto Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Dantas in the 21st minute of play.
