Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Domingos Fontes kicked off to start the match. Caratao FC's Raimundo Aragão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique Aleixo in the 3rd minute of play. In the 6th match minute, Internacional FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingos Fontes to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Caratao FC defense, Filipe Leiria kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raimundo Aragão. The Caratao FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raimundo Aragão should have stopped the shot. Domingos Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Aragão having to interfere. Raimundo Aragão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Fontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute, Domingos Fontes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Raimundo Aragão. The goal made the score 2-0. If Domingos Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henrique Aleixo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Raimundo Aragão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Internacional FC booed when Caratao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Januário Lamego didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domingos Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Filipe Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Domingos Fontes during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 35 played minutes Internacional FC got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Fontes. If Filipe Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. If Domingos Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simão Silva scored 3-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raimundo Aragão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Caratao FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Simão Moutinho hit a great ball. If Raul Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Raimundo Aragão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingos Fontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute, Filipe Leiria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th minute Domingos Fontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Aragão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Domingos Fontes sped through Caratao FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Raimundo Aragão. If Domingos Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raimundo Aragão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Domingos Fontes's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Henrique Aleixo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raimundo Aragão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Domingos Fontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
