Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) Paranhos FC's José Reis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hélder Domingues kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Emílio Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emílio Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Viegas, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. João Sá made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Reis in the 15th minute of play. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 2-0 when José Reis sped through Gafanhoeira's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of João Sá. Álvaro Carvalho succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 33rd playminute. João Sá showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Reis in the 37th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, José Reis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Sá was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. José Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Sá having to interfere. 49 minutes into the match, Gafanhoeira's goalkeeper João Sá had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Álvaro Carvalho. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ricardo Viegas to strike the kick off in the second half. Álvaro Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. João Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If José Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Álvaro Carvalho came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Paranhos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Álvaro Carvalho couldn't finish the play. Hélder Domingues hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Álvaro Carvalho struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. João Sá didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paranhos FC. In the 75th minute, Viriato Pinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Paranhos FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Miguel Resende hit a great ball. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gafanhoeira's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Miguel Resende was slow to take the kick. During this time Paranhos FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Paranhos FC's corner Miguel Resende fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and João Sá quite easily take care of the ball. When the referee ended the match the Paranhos FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
