After a defensive mix-up in Malasia FC's zone, Luís Ferreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Miranda came out of the goal and Luís Ferreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jorge Guerreiro kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Alexandre Amaro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sandro Soares. Aguincho FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardo Ferreira in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sandro Soares saved Aguincho FC from getting behind. Sandro Soares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Leiria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Bernardo Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 33rd match minute, Aguincho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mário Lima to maneuver through the defense. Adolfo Borba struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernardo Ferreira was the one to do the kick off. Luís Ferreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adolfo Borba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Miranda having to interfere. José Abreu hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. João Gonçalves was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 61st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Adolfo Borba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Miranda having to interfere. In the 82nd match minute, Aguincho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Guerreiro to maneuver through the defense. Aguincho FC's Sandro Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Ferreira in the 85th minute of play. Hugo Leiria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Sandro Soares made a huge save. Hugo Leiria who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Sandro Soares when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Hugo Leiria came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Malasia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Leiria couldn't finish the play. Bernardo Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aguincho FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Malasia FC for a fine match.
