Spectators: 7128 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 50) SC Celada's Sandro Brito started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Burga FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jorge Pereira 3 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. 8 minutes into the match, SC Celada's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Raposo came free, but Edson Xavier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Raposo in the 11th minute of play forced SC Celada's goalkeeper Edson Xavier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sandro Brito had several of the Burga FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 15 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Marcelo Leitão as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Jorge Pereira came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the SC Celada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Pereira couldn't finish the play. 21 minutes into the match, Burga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Pereira came free, but Marcelo Leitão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 22nd minute by Sandro Brito got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Sandro Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Leitão having to interfere. Burga FC's Marcelo Leitão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Burga FC from getting a goal against them. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Burga FC's goalkeeper Marcelo Leitão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sandro Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Leitão having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vivaldo Reis during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vivaldo Reis kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Sandro Brito notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Burga FC's Marcelo Leitão. Marcelo Leitão was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 37th minute of the match Inácio Teles sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edson Xavier skillfully saved the ball. Aloísio Pais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edson Xavier having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Salvador Raposo made the kick off in the second half. Marcelo Leitão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After having played for 55 minutes, Sandro Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Celada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sandro Brito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sandro Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Marcelo Leitão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sandro Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Leitão having to interfere. Marcelo Leitão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Pereira in the 81st minute of the match. After 82 played minutes Burga FC got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Linhares. In the 84thth minute of the game Jorge Pereira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Burga FC's Marcelo Leitão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jorge Pereira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcelo Leitão having to make a save. Alexandre Borba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edson Xavier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Raposo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the SC Celada players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
