After 22 minutes of play, Mosketeers's Isidoro Soeiro made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isidoro Soeiro got free with Cristóvão Anjos in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alberto Graça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sérgio Paredes in the 31st minute of play. Joaquim Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Graça having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, Carlos Pires cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. After 72 played minutes SC Miradeses got a freekick which was hit by Emílio Moniz. Gastão Póvoas struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Cristóvão Anjos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mosketeers.
