Manuel Alves's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Valter Ramalho skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Alexandre Valido hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Ousseira were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Louletano's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mário Oliveira took the corner. Ousseira's Mário Oliveira was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Valter Ramalho in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Valter Ramalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Alves in the 41st minute of the match. If Manuel Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Quintino Balsemão to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Ousseira's goalkeeper André Delgado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Quintino Balsemão. Ousseira's André Delgado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Ousseira from getting a goal against them.
