Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. José Mota started the match with the kick off. 7 minutes into the game, Rui Antunes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pedralgo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave StormSCity the free kick. After 6 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pedralgo! StormSCity's Diamantino Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Mota in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Diamantino Reis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernando Trindade was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 22nd minute, Nuno Gomes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diamantino Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Fernando Trindade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustavo Oliveira struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Fernando Trindade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for StormSCity. 31 minutes into the match, StormSCity's goal looked a bit too open when José Mota came free, but Diamantino Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute Jorge Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Trindade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diamantino Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Diamantino Reis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Abel Ferro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gustavo Oliveira made a kick off. Nuno Leiria hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Diamantino Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Fernando Trindade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernando Trindade made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Diamantino Reis sent off a good shot on target. Pedralgo's José Mota got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Diamantino Reis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 79thth minute, Fernando Trindade skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Diamantino Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Mota in the 80th minute of the match. The supporters of Pedralgo booed when StormSCity was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Mota in the 84th minute of play forced StormSCity's goalkeeper Diamantino Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernando Trindade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Oliveira in the 87th minute of play. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pedralgo's goalkeeper Fernando Trindade, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Carlos Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Pedralgo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. StormSCity were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
