Spectators: 6681 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abel Porto started the match with the kick off. The audience was convinced that Rui Chagas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Borges was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Caetano in the 15th minute of play forced SC Maljoga's goalkeeper José Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Rui Chagas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Horses FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rui Chagas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Borges breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Horses FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Almiro Lobo hit a great ball. After 27 played minutes Horses FC got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Pimenta. When Abel Porto came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the SC Maljoga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abel Porto couldn't finish the play. Horses FC's Rui Chagas got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31st minute André Caetano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to SC Maljoga getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Pedro Trindade hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Wilson Fontoura managed to get in a good position for a shot. Horses FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilson Fontoura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Borges breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. José Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Chagas in the 44th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SC Maljoga's zone, Rui Chagas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Borges came out of the goal and Rui Chagas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. André Caetano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Borges having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rui Chagas to make the kick off. Rui Chagas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miguel Pinho kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. A collision led to Horses FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Almiro Lobo hit a great ball. André Caetano struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. José Borges didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Horses FC. André Caetano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Borges having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in SC Maljoga's zone, Rui Chagas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Borges came out of the goal and Rui Chagas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Rui Chagas took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for José Borges to make any attempt to save it. Rui Chagas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Borges having to interfere. José Borges was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Almiro Lobo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 84 minute of play. In the 87th minute, André Caetano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of José Borges. The goal made the score 0-5. André Caetano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle sounded Horses FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than SC Maljoga.
