In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Raso FC's goalkeeper Hermes Bentes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carlos Pedroso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Hermes Bentes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Pedroso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermes Bentes having to interfere. If Jorge Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Espírito Santo's late challenge caught a SC Babau's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miguel Espírito Santo helped the player get up and apologised. After 24 played minutes Raso FC got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Espírito Santo. In the 25th minute, Amílcar Trindade reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hermes Bentes. The goal made the score 1-0. Cassiano Porto kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Jorge Gueifão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermes Bentes having to interfere. In the 34th minute Jorge Gueifão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermes Bentes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hermes Bentes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Pedroso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hermes Bentes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amílcar Trindade in the 42nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Gueifão in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hermes Bentes saved Raso FC from getting behind. After 47 minutes, Jorge Gueifão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Babau and the Raso FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Babau's Jorge Gueifão got a free kick in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorge Gueifão was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Raso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Gueifão came free, but Hermes Bentes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When SC Babau's Jorge Gueifão in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Raso FC's goalie prevented a goal. Raso FC's Hermes Bentes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Gueifão in the 65th minute of play. When Jorge Leal fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Raso FC's protests and gave Jorge Leal a yellow card for diving instead. Jorge Leal kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Jorge Gueifão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Hermes Bentes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Gueifão in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hermes Bentes saved Raso FC from getting behind. If Carlos Pedroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The SC Babau fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when SC Babau's Jorge Gueifão looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 76thth minute of the game Jorge Gueifão who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Raso FC's Hermes Bentes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Raso FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Miguel Espírito Santo hit a great ball. The throw-in from Adélio Lobato in the 81st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by SC Babau's Gil Queirós. Raso FC's Hermes Bentes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Gueifão in the 83rd minute of play. In the 88th minute Jorge Gueifão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermes Bentes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Raso FC's zone, Carlos Pedroso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hermes Bentes came out of the goal and Carlos Pedroso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raso FC's Jorge Leal got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raso FC's Hermes Bentes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amílcar Trindade in the 94th minute of play. Oliveira Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermes Bentes having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Raso FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SC Babau.
