FC Travessa's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Amorim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Avinjes's Igor Moutinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filipe Candeias in the 5th minute of play. Igor Moutinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe Candeias in the 7th minute of play. Lisandro Bandeira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Baltasar Tristão came out and tried to block the shot, but Lisandro Bandeira slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 16th minute. Igor Moutinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Amorim in the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Avinjes's goalkeeper Igor Moutinho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ademar Moura's late challenge caught a FC Travessa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ademar Moura helped the player get up and apologised. Ademar Moura hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Amável Pacheco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Travessa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filipe Candeias in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Igor Moutinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Filipe Candeias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Igor Moutinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 43 minutes, Filipe Candeias made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. The supporters of FC Travessa booed when Avinjes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Onofre didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the game, Maurício Esparteiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Travessa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Avinjes the free kick. Maurício Esparteiro kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. André Amorim struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Igor Moutinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Travessa. After a defensive mix-up in Avinjes's zone, André Amorim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Igor Moutinho came out of the goal and André Amorim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. André Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Moutinho having to interfere. Igor Moutinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Candeias in the 80th minute of the match. André Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baltasar Tristão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Márcio Miranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Avinjes fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Travessa were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
