Santiago Gouveia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Espírito Santo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Domingos Ramires during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Domingos Ramires kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Sevilheira's Daniel Matias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Telinhos in the 27th minute of play. Daniel Matias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mário Estrada in the 33rd minute of the match. A collision led to MAL FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Mauro Madeira hit a great ball. A long shot from Nuno Valadão in the 35th minute of play was well struck, but Marco Espírito Santo made a really good save at the right post. When Mário Estrada came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the MAL FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mário Estrada couldn't finish the play. Daniel Matias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Vilhena in the 41st minute of the match. Mário Estrada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Santiago Gouveia made the kick off in the second half. Daniel Matias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mário Estrada, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. The supporters of MAL FC booed when Sevilheira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gentil Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute, Sevilheira's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Samuel Vilhena fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 67th minute, Mário Estrada fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Daniel Matias, passed just outside the right post. During the 72nd minute of the match Domingos Ramires completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Domingos Ramires a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of MAL FC booed when Sevilheira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Ramires didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enzo Cardoso was shown his second yellow card after 75 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 76th match minute, MAL FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Cardoso to maneuver through the defense. Samuel Vilhena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Daniel Matias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sevilheira's Daniel Matias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Sevilheira from getting a goal against them. In the 87th minute, Samuel Vilhena fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Samuel Vilhena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Daniel Matias made a huge save. In the 92nd minute, Samuel Vilhena had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After 92 minutes, Nuno Valadão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sevilheira and the MAL FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of MAL FC booed when Sevilheira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Valadão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Matias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Samuel Telinhos in the 94th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the MAL FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sevilheira.
