In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind SCP's goalkeeper Duarte Brito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Postimiao's zone, Américo Correia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Feliu came out of the goal and Américo Correia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Pinto in the 34th minute of play forced Postimiao's goalkeeper Felix Feliu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute, Armando Pinto made a precise shot to the right of Felix Feliu. Postimiao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 38th minute Emílio Coelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Feliu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If José Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Américo Correia to make the kick off. If 孔棋梁 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Américo Correia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felix Feliu having to make a save. Duarte Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 孔棋梁 in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Duarte Brito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Miguel Barbosa hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Duarte Brito came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Postimiao's 孔棋梁. But to his dismay, 孔棋梁 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 84th minute, 孔棋梁 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Duarte Brito was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Américo Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Postimiao fans cheered their team off the field, for while SCP had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
