Spectators: 7274 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jesualdo Simões kicked off to start the match. Afonso Paixão hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 5th minute, Carlos Abreu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Oliveira de Sul's Santiago Ribas didn't even have to move. Santiago Ribas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Paredes in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Paredes in the 12th minute of play forced Oliveira de Sul's goalkeeper Santiago Ribas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th match minute, SC Abobara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Reis to maneuver through the defense. Jesualdo Simões took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Afonso Sá. Afonso Sá dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Santiago Ribas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Paredes, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute, Américo Anjos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Abobara fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Evandro Coutinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Afonso Sá made a huge save. When Paulo Paredes came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the SC Abobara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Paredes couldn't finish the play. Américo Anjos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Ribas having to interfere. Santiago Ribas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Américo Anjos, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute of the game, Fernando Reis landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Afonso Paixão was shown his second yellow card after 37 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Oliveira de Sul's Afonso Paixão got a free kick in the 39th minute. After 41 minutes of play, SC Abobara's Américo Anjos made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santiago Ribas was left in no man's land by his defense there!

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Américo Anjos to make the kick off. Jesualdo Simões kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. When Américo Anjos came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the SC Abobara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Américo Anjos couldn't finish the play. 55 minutes into the match, Oliveira de Sul's goalkeeper Santiago Ribas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Américo Anjos. Óscar Vale struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Santiago Ribas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Abobara. After 66 minutes of play, SC Abobara's Américo Anjos made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santiago Ribas was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evandro Coutinho in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Afonso Sá saved SC Abobara from getting behind. Evandro Coutinho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Afonso Sá having to make a save. After 76 played minutes Oliveira de Sul got a freekick which was hit by Jesualdo Simões. Américo Anjos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the match, Oliveira de Sul's goalkeeper Santiago Ribas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Américo Anjos. After 83 played minutes SC Abobara got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Paredes. In the 87th minute, Evandro Coutinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulo Paredes during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 94 minutes into the game, Américo Anjos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Santiago Ribas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match was over SC Abobara could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Oliveira de Sul throughout the match.
