Óscar Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Paredes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Santiago Ribas having to make a save. Américo Anjos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Santiago Ribas made a huge save. Américo Anjos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Santiago Ribas having to make a save. In the 11th minute, Paulo Paredes fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Santiago Ribas, passed just outside the right post. Oliveira de Sul's Santiago Ribas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Américo Anjos in the 12th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, SC Abobara's Américo Anjos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Santiago Ribas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 23 minutes into the match, Evandro Coutinho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Afonso Sá. SC Abobara's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evandro Coutinho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 27 minutes, Afonso Paixão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oliveira de Sul and the SC Abobara players grew even worse after the yellow card. Diamantino Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Sá having to interfere. Santiago Ribas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Paredes in the 36th minute of the match. Paulo Paredes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Santiago Ribas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st play minute Américo Anjos came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Santiago Ribas. 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Américo Anjos managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Abobara's supporters rose to their feet, but Américo Anjos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santiago Ribas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulo Paredes was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Oliveira de Sul's zone, Américo Anjos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santiago Ribas came out of the goal and Américo Anjos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute Américo Anjos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Ribas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afonso Paixão hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Paredes in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santiago Ribas saved Oliveira de Sul from getting behind. If Fernando Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oliveira de Sul's Santiago Ribas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Paredes in the 72nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Oliveira de Sul's Cassiano Assunção got a free kick in the 74th minute. After 78 minutes of play, SC Abobara's Paulo Paredes made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santiago Ribas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Américo Anjos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Santiago Ribas having to make a save. After a rather tough play, SC Abobara's Paulo Paredes got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Américo Anjos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Ribas having to interfere. Diamantino Ramos hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the SC Abobara players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
