Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) Jorge Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vasco Baptista in the 6th minute of the match. After 8 minutes, Cristiano Castelo Branco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barreiro City and the Pombares players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th minute, André Leiria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Lourenço Madruga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jorge Rocha was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Avelar during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 24thth minute of the game Vasco Baptista who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pombares's Jorge Rocha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vasco Baptista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Pombares's zone, Lourenço Madruga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Rocha came out of the goal and Lourenço Madruga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Pombares getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Humberto Guarda hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the game, Severino Macieira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barreiro City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pombares the free kick. After 35 played minutes Barreiro City got a freekick which was hit by Severino Macieira. If Vasco Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severino Macieira kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. A collision led to Barreiro City getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Vasco Baptista hit a great ball. André Leiria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armindo Carmo having to interfere. If Xavier Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell André Leiria to make the kick off. In the 63rd minute, Cristiano Castelo Branco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lourenço Madruga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Rocha having to interfere. After having played for 69 minutes, Lourenço Madruga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barreiro City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lourenço Madruga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd minute, Vasco Baptista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Cristiano Castelo Branco was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 73 minutes had been played. The supporters of Pombares booed when Barreiro City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Castelo Branco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Pombares's Jorge Esteves tried to score from far away in the 75th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. André Leiria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Armindo Carmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patrício Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aloísio Valentim charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aloísio Valentim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Barreiro City fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 84th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Pombares a penalty, 86 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jorge Esteves, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Barreiro City's Armindo Carmo. 1-1. Vasco Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 99th minute there was a penalty for Pombares. Jorge Esteves stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Armindo Carmo. 2-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, Pombares could leave the field as winners, despite Barreiro City having more of the ball for most of the match.
