Amável Almeida hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 6 minutes into the game, Amável Almeida was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mandim FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Gamenhos the free kick. A collision led to Mandim FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Amável Almeida hit a great ball. 7 minutes into the match, Mandim FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Barbosa came free, but Óscar Maia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Óscar Maia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Barbosa in the 10th minute of play. Domingos Ferreira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Óscar Maia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Luís Barbosa came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the SC Gamenhos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Barbosa couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Mandim FC's Óscar Maia got control of the ball when Domingos Ferreira tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Luís Barbosa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Óscar Maia was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Domingos Ferreira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Óscar Maia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. In the 22ndth minute of the game Luís Barbosa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mandim FC's Óscar Maia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 25th minute, Luís Barbosa fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Óscar Maia, passed just outside the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Domingos Ferreira got free with Óscar Maia in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Domingos Ferreiras short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Óscar Maia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some careless play in the Mandim FC defense, Domingos Ferreira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Óscar Maia. The Mandim FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Óscar Maia should have stopped the shot. An unexpected shot in the 33rd minute by Domingos Ferreira got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Luís Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Gamenhos's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Barbosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Óscar Maia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Mandim FC's Óscar Maia got control of the ball when Domingos Ferreira tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 39th minute, Luís Barbosa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Óscar Maia. The goal made the score 2-0. After a rather tough play, Mandim FC's Amável Almeida got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute, Luís Barbosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Barbosa made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cassiano Vilela during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of SC Gamenhos booed when Mandim FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sálvio Camargo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When SC Gamenhos's Domingos Ferreira in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mandim FC's goalie prevented a goal. Luís Barbosa struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Óscar Maia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Gamenhos. Óscar Maia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Barbosa in the 78th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Luís Barbosa made a precise shot to the right of Óscar Maia. Mandim FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Luís Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Óscar Maia having to interfere. Óscar Maia came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by SC Gamenhos's Luís Barbosa. But to his dismay, Luís Barbosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 94th minute, Domingos Ferreira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When SC Gamenhos's Luís Barbosa in the 99th minute got a chance for a shot 99th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mandim FC's goalie prevented a goal. When the referee ended the match the SC Gamenhos players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
