The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Julian Hodas managed to get in a good position for a shot. ICE's supporters rose to their feet, but Julian Hodas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nuno Perdigão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vítor Setúbal struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Nuno Perdigão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ICE. In the 6th minute, ICE's Julian Hodas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nuno Perdigão. Nuno Perdigão yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 17 minutes into the match, José Marques dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nuno Perdigão, 2-0. Nuno Perdigão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Hodas in the 22nd minute of play. Horacio Maule sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nuno Perdigão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Hodas in the 41st minute of the match. With a little luck, Crypto FC's Nuno Perdigão got control of the ball when José Marques tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 46 played minutes ICE got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Setúbal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Afonso Morais who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Gil Soares when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Horacio Maule took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nuno Perdigão. Nuno Perdigão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 62nd minute, Ademar Mourato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to ICE getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Alberto Dias hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the match, Crypto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Trindade came free, but Nuno Perdigão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Afonso Trindade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 73rd minute Julian Hodas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Perdigão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th match minute, Crypto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juvenal Meireles to maneuver through the defense. Horacio Maule sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Horacio Maule made a precise shot to the right of Nuno Perdigão. Crypto FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. When Afonso Morais came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Crypto FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afonso Morais couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ICE fully deserved thier win.
