The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gusmão Nóbrega to strike the kick off in the second half. Noel Carrasqueira tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Sílvio Igrejas. The Quintela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sílvio Igrejas should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Bizorreiro getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Gonçalo Antas hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Nélson Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quintela's supporters rose to their feet, but Nélson Luz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvestre Lamego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bizorreiro's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
