In the 16th match minute, Sta. Marinha Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Pestana to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albertino Mendonça got free with 肖迅岚 in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. David Soveral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 肖迅岚 having to interfere. In the 29th minute David Soveral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 肖迅岚 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 肖迅岚 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albertino Mendonça in the 31st minute. After 32 played minutes AVC TEAM got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Cruz. Sta. Marinha Juniors's Octávio Malta shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 33rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by 肖迅岚 but with some difficulty. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Soveral in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 肖迅岚 saved AVC TEAM from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Fábio Franco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sta. Marinha Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Fábio Franco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 肖迅岚 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 74 played minutes AVC TEAM got a freekick which was hit by Gonçalo Verbicário. In the 76th minute, David Soveral made a precise shot to the right of 肖迅岚. AVC TEAM's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 79th minute, Gonçalo Verbicário hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Sta. Marinha Juniors booed when AVC TEAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. AVC TEAM's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the AVC TEAM players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sta. Marinha Juniors.
