The crowd rose to their feet as Jorge Barros kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bernardo Vilar. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. Leonardo Gonçalves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pigeiros FC's goalkeeper Alberto Cabral, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Leonardo Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Pigeiros FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Nuno Pedroso hit a great ball. We Make The Diference's Bernardo Vilar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Barros in the 25th minute of play. Egídio Caneira kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind We Make The Diference's goalkeeper Bernardo Vilar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leonardo Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Alberto Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonardo Gonçalves was the one to do the kick off. Paulo Machado hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 62nd match minute, We Make The Diference was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egídio Caneira to maneuver through the defense. When Pigeiros FC's Jorge Barros in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a rather tough play, We Make The Diference's Renato Belém got a free kick in the 64th minute. 65 minutes into the match, We Make The Diference's goal looked a bit too open when González Elicegui came free, but Bernardo Vilar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jorge Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Egídio Caneira fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored We Make The Diference's protests and gave Egídio Caneira a yellow card for diving instead. Renato Belém fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Cabral having to interfere. When Jorge Barros came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Pigeiros FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Barros couldn't finish the play. Bernardo Vilar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from González Elicegui in the 82nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Jorge Barros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardo Vilar was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. 91 minutes into the match, We Make The Diference's goal looked a bit too open when González Elicegui came free, but Bernardo Vilar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, González Elicegui made a precise shot to the right of Bernardo Vilar. We Make The Diference's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. There was no doubt that Pigeiros FC were the better team. Pigeiros FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
