Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David Diegues in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adalberto Guarda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodrigo Madureira during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rodrigo Madureira kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Filipe Leitão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Diegues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adalberto Guarda having to interfere. In the 64th minute Adriano Ponte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Estevão Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When David Diegues came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the CILADAS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Diegues couldn't finish the play. Leal Brochado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Estevão Lopes having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, SC Sabugos's goalkeeper Adalberto Guarda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Diegues. A collision led to SC Sabugos getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Olívio Maia hit a great ball. If David Diegues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 78 minutes, Augusto Vides mouthed his way into the referee's book. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the match, David Diegues notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of SC Sabugos's Adalberto Guarda. Adalberto Guarda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. CILADAS FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
