Spectators: 7180 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 50) After having played for 8 minutes, Xavier Macedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sport Clube Beira-Mar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xavier Macedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in SC Trajinha's zone, Amílcar Henriques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albertino Ornelas came out of the goal and Amílcar Henriques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Alexandre Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albertino Ornelas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavier Macedo in the 18th minute of the match. Fernando Montenegro hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Rui Lopes was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Wilson Onofre capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wilson Onofre really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 32nd match minute, SC Trajinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdemar Rijo to maneuver through the defense. Rui Lopes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdemar Rijo in the 34th minute of the match. Rui Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabino Monsanto in the 35th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xavier Macedo in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albertino Ornelas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Fernando Montenegro fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Trajinha's protests and gave Fernando Montenegro a yellow card for diving instead. 45 minutes into the match, SC Trajinha's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Marques came free, but Albertino Ornelas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Xavier Macedo made the kick off in the second half. Rui Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A throw-in in the 60th minute of the game was made by Sandro Bessa with Alexandre Marques as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 69 minutes of play, SC Trajinha's Sabino Monsanto made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rui Lopes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alexandre Marques's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albertino Ornelas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, SC Trajinha's Joaquim Correia got a free kick in the 80th minute. 82 minutes into the match, SC Trajinha's goal looked a bit too open when Xavier Macedo came free, but Albertino Ornelas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xavier Macedo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Albertino Ornelas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Amílcar Henriques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Sport Clube Beira-Mar booed when SC Trajinha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Magalhães didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Alexandre Marques got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the referee blew the final whistle, SC Trajinha could leave the field as winners, despite Sport Clube Beira-Mar having more of the ball for most of the match.
