Spectators: 6670 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edgar Leiria kicked off to start the match. Fradizela FC's Amado Quintanilha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Fradizela FC from getting a goal against them. Tarcísio Vidal charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tarcísio Vidal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 9 played minutes Finzes FC got a freekick which was hit by Tarcísio Vidal. Romão Gueifão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amado Pádua in the 12th minute of play. Amado Quintanilha was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Albertino Jesus. Amado Quintanilha made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Rui Jesus sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Leiria in the 32nd minute of play forced Finzes FC's goalkeeper Romão Gueifão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Finzes FC's zone, Edgar Leiria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romão Gueifão came out of the goal and Edgar Leiria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amado Pádua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romão Gueifão having to interfere. Edgar Leiria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Romão Gueifão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgar Leiria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romão Gueifão having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Jesualdo Granja made the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Sebastião Carmo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fradizela FC and the Finzes FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th match minute, Fradizela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastião Carmo to maneuver through the defense. Edgar Leiria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Romão Gueifão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Leiria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Fradizela FC booed when Finzes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélio Prestes didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Leiria in the 67th minute of play forced Finzes FC's goalkeeper Romão Gueifão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Finzes FC's João Castanheira got a free kick in the 72nd minute. If Edgar Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgar Leiria's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romão Gueifão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. When Amado Pádua came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Fradizela FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amado Pádua couldn't finish the play. Fradizela FC's Amado Pádua was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 83rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Finzes FC's zone, Edgar Leiria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romão Gueifão came out of the goal and Edgar Leiria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aloísio Casado's late challenge caught a Finzes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aloísio Casado helped the player get up and apologised. In the 89th minute, Aloísio Casado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 95 minutes, Edgar Leiria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fradizela FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgar Leiria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
