After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Bernardo Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sobrados's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Dantas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pouve's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amílcar Martins was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Ricardo Cunha made the kick off in the second half. If Hélder Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aristides Arruda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bernardo Dantas struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Aristides Arruda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sobrados. 78 minutes into the match, Pouve's goal looked a bit too open when Amílcar Martins came free, but Aristides Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amílcar Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
