Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lourenço Azevedo started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Aleixo got free with Cristiano Matos in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lourenço Azevedo struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Zacarias Bessa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for G.D.Alto do Frono. G.D.Alto do Frono's Cristiano Matos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abílio Macedo in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Hélder Rodrigues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, Marco Aleixo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristiano Matos. G.D.Alto do Frono's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marco Aleixo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Marco Aleixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Nunes charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luís Nunes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luís Nunes hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Marco Aleixo could shoot a difficult shot in the 26th minute, which Cristiano Matos however easily saved by the left post. 28 minutes into the game, Aquilino Neiva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RefvgiosBar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave G.D.Alto do Frono the free kick. A collision led to RefvgiosBar getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Aquilino Neiva hit a great ball. Cristiano Matos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abílio Macedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristiano Matos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abílio Macedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Gil Moutinho charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gil Moutinho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Marco Aleixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Zacarias Bessa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lourenço Azevedo in the 54th minute of play. Cristiano Matos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Aleixo in the 61st minute of play. Lourenço Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Afonso Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute, Lourenço Azevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 76 played minutes RefvgiosBar got a freekick which was hit by Gil Moutinho. Lourenço Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Bessa having to interfere. After 79 minutes of play RefvgiosBar's Gil Moutinho was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Gil Moutinho hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in RefvgiosBar's zone, Lourenço Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zacarias Bessa came out of the goal and Lourenço Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When RefvgiosBar's Marco Aleixo in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye G.D.Alto do Frono's goalie prevented a goal. Marco Aleixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julião Marinho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristiano Matos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. If Marco Aleixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The RefvgiosBar support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
