The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Gonçalo Trindade reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jacinto Simões. The goal made the score 1-0. If Gonçalo Trindade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gonçalo Trindade received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jacinto Simões came out and tried to block the shot, but Gonçalo Trindade slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 16th minute. After a rather tough play, FC Pivadas's Gonçalo Trindade got a free kick in the 18th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Gueifar's goal looked a bit too open when Matheus Toscano came free, but Jacinto Simões reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo Trindade in the 26th minute of play forced Gueifar's goalkeeper Jacinto Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gonçalo Trindade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvério Ribas hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Jacinto Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonçalo Trindade in the 33rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Gueifar defense, Gonçalo Trindade kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacinto Simões. The Gueifar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacinto Simões should have stopped the shot. Jacinto Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonçalo Trindade in the 43rd minute of the match. Matheus Toscano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Simões having to interfere. In the 48th minute, FC Pivadas's Gonçalo Trindade dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gonçalo Trindade stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute, João Gomes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Gueifar's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Assunção came free, but Jacinto Simões reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 63 minutes, Gonçalo Trindade made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Gueifar's Jacinto Simões tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Vivaldo Lage hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. A collision led to FC Pivadas getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Matheus Toscano hit a great ball. When João Gomes came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the FC Pivadas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Gomes couldn't finish the play. Leonel Brites hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. If João Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gonçalo Trindade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. João Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gueifar's goalkeeper Jacinto Simões, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Silvério Ribas's late challenge caught a FC Pivadas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvério Ribas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th minute, Silvério Ribas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacinto Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonçalo Trindade in the 98th minute of play.
