The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Américo Azeredo helped the player get up and apologised. Porfírio Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Baptista in the 21st minute of the match. If Benjamin Schmidtmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute Benjamin Schmidtmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Porfírio Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Porfírio Santos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Leonardo Malafaia fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SevenTeam's protests and gave Leonardo Malafaia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38thth minute of the game Benjamin Schmidtmann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SevenTeam's Porfírio Santos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 39th minute, Karol Jaraczeski made a precise shot to the right of Porfírio Santos. SevenTeam's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 42 minutes into the game, Maurício Santarém was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SevenTeam's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave River Park the free kick. Maurício Santarém kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benjamin Schmidtmann to make the kick off. SevenTeam's Porfírio Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Schmidtmann in the 71st minute of play. River Park's Benjamin Schmidtmann got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. River Park's Joaquim Azevedo was substituted for Lucas Pinto. Karol Jaraczeski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Benjamin Schmidtmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karol Jaraczeski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Porfírio Santos having to make a save. Benjamin Schmidtmann who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 97thth minute tested the skills of Porfírio Santos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. River Park's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
