Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Lucas Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Bragança, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to SC Molelos getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Basílio Melo hit a great ball. Joaquim Modesto came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Molelos's Filipe Queirós. But to his dismay, Filipe Queirós quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Filipe Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Molelos's supporters rose to their feet, but Filipe Queirós was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquim Modesto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24th minute, Mário Teles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Filipe Queirós's late challenge caught a Casconho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filipe Queirós helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th match minute, SC Molelos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipe Queirós to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the match, SC Molelos's goalkeeper Lucas Torres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mário Teles. When Mário Teles came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Casconho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mário Teles couldn't finish the play. SC Molelos's Lucas Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Bragança in the 33rd minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joaquim Bragança was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Joaquim Bragança shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 59 minutes, Abel Maia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Molelos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel Maia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 62nd minute, Abel Maia fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Joaquim Modesto, passed just outside the right post. In the 65th minute Mário Teles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucas Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Bragança, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 68th minute, Ricardo Araújo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Araújo hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Lucas Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mário Teles in the 78th minute of play. Lucas Torres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joaquim Bragança's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. SC Molelos's Lucas Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Teles in the 87th minute of play. Lucas Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mário Teles in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Maia in the 90th minute of play forced Casconho's goalkeeper Joaquim Modesto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 90 played minutes Casconho got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Meira. After some careless play in the SC Molelos defense, Joaquim Bragança kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucas Torres. The SC Molelos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucas Torres should have stopped the shot.
