Thanks to some nice moves Fernando Azevedo could shoot a difficult shot in the 21st minute, which Amável Ferrão however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, Temporao's Amável Ferrão got control of the ball when Fernando Azevedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 26 minutes, Fernando Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Carvalheda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Azevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell João Regalado to make the kick off. João Regalado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viriato Fontes having to interfere. When Ademar Camargo came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Temporao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ademar Camargo couldn't finish the play. Fernando Azevedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amável Ferrão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernando Azevedo ran back to his position shaking his head. Fernando Azevedo struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Amável Ferrão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Carvalheda. SC Carvalheda's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
