With a little luck, SC Cuba's Fábio Abrantes got control of the ball when Hamilton Quintas tried to sneak it across the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, SC Cuba's goal looked a bit too open when João Cunha came free, but Fábio Abrantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, OS MOUROS FC's João Cunha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fábio Abrantes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Zeferino Brito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jorge Barata was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game.
