Tiago Lisboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Abancens having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Bruno Brás put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tobias Abancens. In the 14th minute Bruno Brás shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Abancens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 17 minutes, Rolando Quental mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the APOLOS FC and the CF Valadares players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of CF Valadares booed when APOLOS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Quental didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to APOLOS FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Óscar Fonseca hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Paulino Fraga managed to get in a good position for a shot. CF Valadares's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulino Fraga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tobias Abancens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Basílio Leão tried to clear up in front of Isidoro Maltez it went so bad that he instead put the ball under the crossbar into own goal, a very annoying self made goal which led to 1-1. Tobias Abancens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Brás in the 41st minute of play.

Xavier Ramires hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute, Bruno Lamego hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 59 played minutes, APOLOS FC's Óscar Fonseca shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Isidoro Maltez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in APOLOS FC reached it. 62 minutes into the match, APOLOS FC's Fernando Borges sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isidoro Maltez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bruno Brás's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tobias Abancens firmly grabbed it by the left post. Xavier Ramires kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Isidoro Maltez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 77th minute, Fernando Borges ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isidoro Maltez was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After 83 played minutes APOLOS FC got a freekick which was hit by Óscar Fonseca. When Paulino Fraga came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the CF Valadares fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulino Fraga couldn't finish the play. Miguel Faro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Isidoro Maltez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isidoro Maltez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Erik Larsfelt, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Isidoro Maltez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Borges in the 90th minute of the match. The supporters of APOLOS FC booed when CF Valadares was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Bandeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tobias Abancens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulino Fraga in the 94th minute of the match.
