After 24 played minutes Sporting Clube Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Sousa. 26 minutes into the match, Armando Carvalho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucas Branco. Sporting Clube Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armando Carvalho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After having played for 29 minutes, David Maia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PMCastro's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Maia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Vítor Fernandes sped through PMCastro's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Henrique Matos. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Szczepan Czeszejko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sporting Clube Portugal's supporters rose to their feet, but Szczepan Czeszejko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henrique Matos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Sporting Clube Portugal defense, Tomás Figueiredo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucas Branco. The Sporting Clube Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucas Branco should have stopped the shot. Lucas Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Figueiredo in the 44th minute of play. Marco Domingues hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vítor Fernandes in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henrique Matos saved PMCastro from getting behind. If David Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Figueiredo scored 2-3 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucas Branco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Henrique Matos came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Clube Portugal's Vítor Fernandes. But to his dismay, Vítor Fernandes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. PMCastro's Diogo Gueifão shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 69th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Lucas Branco but with some difficulty. After a rather tough play, Sporting Clube Portugal's Alexandre Brás got a free kick in the 74th minute. After 78 played minutes PMCastro got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Soares. Vítor Fernandes scored 4-3 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henrique Matos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 86th minute Armando Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucas Branco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Maia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucas Branco was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Armando Carvalho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-4 in the 89 minute of play. Armando Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. PMCastro were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Sporting Clube Portugal to leave the ground with a draw.
