Afonso Quintas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adão Lamego in the 11th minute of the match. Afonso Quintas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesário Fraga in the 12th minute of play. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Laborins's goalkeeper Afonso Quintas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in SC Laborins's zone, Adão Lamego stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afonso Quintas came out of the goal and Adão Lamego tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SC Laborins's Afonso Quintas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leal Valentim in the 18th minute of play. Dário Osório fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Idalécio Bettencourt having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in SC Laborins's zone, Adão Lamego stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afonso Quintas came out of the goal and Adão Lamego tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Normando Palma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Quintas having to interfere. A hard, long distance shot from Gentil Coelho flew over the goal. Normando Palma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leal Valentim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. The supporters of Real FC booed when SC Laborins was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vasco Ferrão didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Cesário Fraga made the kick off in the second half. Cássio Guterres scored 1-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Idalécio Bettencourt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Afonso Vilaça received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Afonso Quintas came out and tried to block the shot, but Afonso Vilaça slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 59th minute. In the 63rd minute, Cesário Fraga reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Afonso Quintas. The goal made the score 1-2. In the 69th minute Cesário Fraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Quintas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Leal Valentim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 73 minutes into the game, Normando Palma cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Afonso Quintas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Leal Valentim came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Real FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leal Valentim couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Real FC booed when SC Laborins was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dário Osório didn't get a good kick on the ball. Real FC's Adão Lamego got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Afonso Quintas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leal Valentim went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Afonso Quintas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesário Fraga in the 91st minute of play. Afonso Quintas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leal Valentim, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Real FC played a much better game than SC Laborins and deserved their victory. The SC Laborins players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
