Spectators: 6678 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Armindo Fonseca kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute, Normando Rebocho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Reriz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Edmund Kluska didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 10th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armindo Fonseca in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Éder Bettencourt saved SC Reriz from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armindo Fonseca in the 17th minute of play forced SC Reriz's goalkeeper Éder Bettencourt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacinto Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lourenço Malafaia kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Éder Bettencourt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armindo Fonseca in the 28th minute of play. Zeferino Moutinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Éder Bettencourt went to the wrong direction when Pedro Freitas was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Armindo Fonseca notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of SC Reriz's Éder Bettencourt. Éder Bettencourt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sait Cengel kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zeferino Moutinho to make the kick off. Armindo Fonseca who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Éder Bettencourt when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jacinto Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Éder Bettencourt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Armindo Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Éder Bettencourt came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Mascarenhas's Armindo Fonseca. But to his dismay, Armindo Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 81 minutes into the game, Sebastião Porto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mascarenhas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Reriz the free kick. Sebastião Porto hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Nuno Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Reriz's supporters rose to their feet, but Nuno Brito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmund Kluska breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Armindo Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Éder Bettencourt having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armindo Fonseca got free with Éder Bettencourt in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sait Cengel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Éder Bettencourt having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Mascarenhas's goal looked a bit too open when Normando Rebocho came free, but Edmund Kluska reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 95 minutes into the game, when Sebastião Porto put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 95th minute of the game. One of Mascarenhas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Reriz:s goal. In the 98th minute there was a penalty for SC Reriz. Nuno Brito stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Edmund Kluska. 3-2. SC Reriz's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
