A collision led to pargueiros getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Cassiano Salazar hit a great ball. Flávio Mascarenhas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basílio Vieira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute Ricardo Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flávio Mascarenhas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flávio Mascarenhas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Silva in the 46th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Gonçalo Cordeiro made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Basílio Vieira notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of pargueiros's Flávio Mascarenhas. In the 68th match minute, FuZed 09 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adelino Lopes to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute, Armando Dantas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FuZed 09 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When the match was over FuZed 09 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than pargueiros throughout the match.
