Cristiano Magalhães was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cristiano Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidónio Curado in the 8th minute of play. After 14th play minutes Raul Morais shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Cesário Júdice and just under the crossbar into goal. Alexandre Guarda charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexandre Guarda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alexandre Guarda kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Raul Morais kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. If Manuel Vilela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristiano Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidónio Curado in the 21st minute of play. Sidónio Curado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Magalhães having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidónio Curado in the 26th minute of play forced ZeColhudo's goalkeeper Cristiano Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Emílio Rodrigues left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ZeColhudo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The supporters of Preladas booed when ZeColhudo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Guarda didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to ZeColhudo getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Joaquim Coimbra hit a great ball. Estevão Macena struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Cristiano Magalhães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Preladas. The ZeColhudo fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when ZeColhudo's Raul Morais looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Sidónio Curado came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Preladas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sidónio Curado couldn't finish the play. Catarino Aleixo hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Preladas's Cesário Júdice played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Guarda in the 66th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Raul Morais managed to get in a good position for a shot. ZeColhudo's supporters rose to their feet, but Raul Morais was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cesário Júdice breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emílio Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 75 minutes, Emílio Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ZeColhudo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emílio Rodrigues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Estevão Macena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute, Pedro Esteves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in ZeColhudo's zone, Estevão Macena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristiano Magalhães came out of the goal and Estevão Macena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 88 minutes into the match, ZeColhudo's goal looked a bit too open when Estevão Macena came free, but Cristiano Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ZeColhudo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
