Spectators: 6660 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 6 minutes, Ramiro Prates managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Regateiras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramiro Prates was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sandoeira's goalkeeper Eliseu Tristão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jorge Gaspar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Donato Bragança read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Jorge Gaspar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sandoeira fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Rubim Águas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Donato Bragança having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Sandoeira's Cristiano Madruga got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Frederico Freire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseu Tristão having to interfere. Donato Bragança didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rubim Águas went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The SC Regateiras players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sandoeira were winning 0-2.

In the 59th match minute, SC Regateiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Laureano to maneuver through the defense. After 60 played minutes, Sandoeira's Angelo Sesimbra shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Donato Bragança came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sandoeira reached it. A hard shot 63 in the game by Rubim Águas from a close distance when the talented Donato Bragança managed to make a qualified save. SC Regateiras's players were relieved. Rubim Águas succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 65th playminute. Eliseu Tristão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Egídio Valadares's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. If Rubim Águas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sandoeira's goalkeeper Eliseu Tristão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jarbas Sardinha's late challenge caught a SC Regateiras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jarbas Sardinha helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th minute, Jarbas Sardinha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sandoeira's Eliseu Tristão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Prates in the 76th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Rubim Águas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 91st minute, Sandoeira's Jorge Gaspar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Rubim Águas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sandoeira walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
