Suricata FC's Cesário Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Rodrigues in the 15th minute of play. In the 17thth minute of the game David Rodrigues who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Suricata FC's Cesário Queirós was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Raul Esteves came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Suricata FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raul Esteves couldn't finish the play. Rafael Santarém fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesário Queirós having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Amílcar Eanes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Júlio Aleixo in the 30th minute really tested Cesário Queirós's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Cesário Queirós was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and David Rodrigues capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. David Rodrigues really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Aparício Salazar hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. When Júlio Aleixo came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Briteiros FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Júlio Aleixo couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Eanes in the 47th minute of play forced Briteiros FC's goalkeeper António Delgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raul Esteves made a kick off. After 54 minutes, José Barros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Briteiros FC and the Suricata FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. José Barros hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Cesário Queirós was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. For all the effort they put into the match, the Suricata FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Briteiros FC.
