Spectators: 7252 (Terracing: 5474, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 100) 8 minutes into the match, Afonso Campos notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of SC Bailao's Miguel Santos. Miguel Santos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The throw-in from Cândido Sardinha in the 12th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Évora Underdogs's Aloísio Resende. A hard shot 13 in the game by Afonso Campos from a close distance when the talented Miguel Santos managed to make a qualified save. SC Bailao's players were relieved. Afonso Campos succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 16th playminute. With a little luck, SC Bailao's Miguel Santos got control of the ball when Afonso Campos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Évora Underdogs's Afonso Campos got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 24 minutes into the game, David Baía was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Bailao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Évora Underdogs the free kick. David Baía kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Évora Underdogs's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Francisco Alvarenga in the 26th minute. A nice corner shot did that Francisco Alvarenga got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Miguel Santos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 27th minute, David Baía hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Afonso Campos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miguel Santos having to make a save. In the 33rd minute, SC Bailao's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Afonso Campos fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by SC Bailao's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Francisco Alvarenga was slow to take the kick. During this time Évora Underdogs's players had a chance to rest. After 39th play minutes Francisco Alvarenga shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Miguel Santos and just under the crossbar into goal. If Afonso Campos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 47 played minutes SC Bailao got a freekick which was hit by Alípio Torcato. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

52 minutes into the match, Adalberto Castro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Doychin Banov. Évora Underdogs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adalberto Castro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso Campos in the 57th minute of play forced SC Bailao's goalkeeper Miguel Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Afonso Campos struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Miguel Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Évora Underdogs. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso Campos in the 61st minute of play forced SC Bailao's goalkeeper Miguel Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SC Bailao's zone, Miguel Madeira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Santos came out of the goal and Miguel Madeira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Francisco Alvarenga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 66 played minutes SC Bailao got a freekick which was hit by Cândido Sardinha. The supporters of SC Bailao booed when Évora Underdogs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Ribeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Doychin Banov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexandrino Leite in the 68th minute. Miguel Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Alvarenga in the 82nd minute of the match. SC Bailao's Miguel Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Alvarenga in the 89th minute of play. When Francisco Alvarenga came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Évora Underdogs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Alvarenga couldn't finish the play. Miguel Santos came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Évora Underdogs's Francisco Alvarenga. But to his dismay, Francisco Alvarenga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Miguel Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Campos in the 97th minute of the match. Évora Underdogs's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
