Emílio Gusmão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. A collision led to Almargens FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Amílcar Rodrigues hit a great ball. Hélder Machado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Emílio Gusmão made a huge save. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fernando Leiria stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Almargens FC's Hélder Machado got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
