Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cândido Ferreira to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Palhares in the 78th minute of play forced SC Macada's goalkeeper Luís Gueifão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, SC Macada's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Palhares came free, but Luís Gueifão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 84 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Macada! In the 85th minute there was a penalty for SC Possacos.
