In the 60th minute, Emílio Gueifão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rui Fonsecas short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Elias Raposo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Académico do Porto's Elias Raposo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Académico do Porto from getting a goal against them.
