Spectators: 7203 (Terracing: 5404, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) Telmo Prada started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 3 played minutes ABC Cabanas got a freekick which was hit by Eurico Avelar. In the 10th minute of the match Idalécio Taborda sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Timóteo Neiva skillfully saved the ball. 12 minutes into the match, ABC Cabanas's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Nunes came free, but Timóteo Neiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaspar Freire stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Telmo Prada's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Jaime Lameiras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Freire having to interfere. Telmo Prada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Gaspar Freire tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 20 in the game by Jaime Lameiras from a close distance when the talented Gaspar Freire managed to make a qualified save. SC Guine's players were relieved. Nuno Nunes struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Timóteo Neiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Guine. After a rather tough play, ABC Cabanas's Tiago Viegas got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute Nuno Nunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timóteo Neiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Nuno Nunes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Timóteo Neiva was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Timóteo Neiva came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Guine's Enzo Trindade. But to his dismay, Enzo Trindade quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Timóteo Neiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Nunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The supporters of SC Guine booed when ABC Cabanas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eurico Avelar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Timóteo Neiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enzo Trindade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Guine's goalkeeper Gaspar Freire, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 37 minutes, Micael Pestana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Guine and the ABC Cabanas players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 37th minute, Micael Pestana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Telmo Prada struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Gaspar Freire didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ABC Cabanas. If Jaime Lameiras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enzo Trindade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Timóteo Neiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 44 minutes, Nuno Nunes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Guine's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nuno Nunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Enzo Trindade made the kick off in the second half. If Jaime Lameiras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teófilo Machado in the 65th minute of play forced SC Guine's goalkeeper Gaspar Freire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of ABC Cabanas booed when SC Guine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Almiro Camacho didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Telmo Prada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Timóteo Neiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Trindade in the 81st minute of play. If Nuno Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enzo Trindade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 91 minutes into the match, SC Guine's Enzo Trindade sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Timóteo Neiva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 92nd match minute, ABC Cabanas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teófilo Machado to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute, Telmo Prada left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ABC Cabanas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1.
