Spectators: 5210 (Terracing: 4100, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 10) After having played for 6 minutes, Tiago Boaventura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bogalhas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiago Boaventura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Henrique Sequeira struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Vasco Moreira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bogalhas FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Viriato Fonseca in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Castanheira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vasco Moreira was a little too slow when Henrique Sequeira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 1-0. If Viriato Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the game, Alípio Zambujal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bogalhas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Fundao the free kick. In the 29th minute, Alípio Zambujal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the match, Afonso Coimbra notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Bogalhas FC's Armando Castanheira. Armando Castanheira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vasco Moreira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henrique Sequeira's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Vasco Moreira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tiago Boaventura in the 40th minute. Tiago Boaventura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasco Moreira having to interfere. Bogalhas FC's Armando Castanheira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Fonseca in the 47th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Henrique Sequeira to strike the kick off in the second half. SC Fundao's Vasco Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique Sequeira in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Daniel Setúbal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 58 played minutes Bogalhas FC got a freekick which was hit by Virgílio Almeida. In the 60th minute, Afonso Coimbra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vasco Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago Boaventura, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. If Henrique Sequeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Henrique Sequeira came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Bogalhas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrique Sequeira couldn't finish the play. Tiago Boaventura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Vasco Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henrique Sequeira in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vasco Moreira saved SC Fundao from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in SC Fundao's zone, Tiago Boaventura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vasco Moreira came out of the goal and Tiago Boaventura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Simão Gomes fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Fundao's protests and gave Simão Gomes a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrique Sequeira in the 77th minute of play forced SC Fundao's goalkeeper Vasco Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute Tiago Boaventura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vasco Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Bogalhas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Coimbra came free, but Armando Castanheira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 91st minute of the match Alípio Zambujal completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Alípio Zambujal a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Bogalhas FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Alípio Zambujal hit a great ball. The SC Fundao players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Bogalhas FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
