Spectators: 6654 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Anselmo Vasconcelos took the kick off in the first half of the match. Fernando Aragão came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Macedinho's Anselmo Vasconcelos. But to his dismay, Anselmo Vasconcelos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. SC Macedinho's Anselmo Vasconcelos got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 13 minutes, Anselmo Vasconcelos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Macedinho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anselmo Vasconcelos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fernando Aragão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Murilo Quadros went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Fernando Aragão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Roriz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anselmo Vasconcelos couldn't finish the play. Joaquim Roriz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Fernando Aragão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 26 minutes of play, SC Macedinho's Joaquim Roriz made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernando Aragão was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joaquim Roriz struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Fernando Aragão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Macedinho. In the 32nd minute, Hildeberto Pimentel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernando Aragão was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Fernando Aragão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Vasconcelos, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 43rd minute, Anselmo Vasconcelos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half SC Macedinho were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sílvio Madureira to make the kick off. Fernando Aragão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Vasconcelos in the 57th minute of the match. Anselmo Vasconcelos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Fernando Aragão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vladimiro Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Lucena in the 68th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Macedinho's Anselmo Vasconcelos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fernando Aragão. That made the score 0-5 after 74 minutes of play. 77 minutes into the game, Cristiano Álvares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lisboa FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Macedinho the free kick. The referee gave SC Macedinho a penalty, 79 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Caio Ornelas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lisboa FC's Fernando Aragão. 0-6. Anselmo Vasconcelos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Fernando Aragão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Murilo Quadros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute, SC Macedinho's Anselmo Vasconcelos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fernando Aragão. Fernando Aragão yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. If Anselmo Vasconcelos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Murilo Quadros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Fernando Aragão made a huge save. In the 98thth minute of the game Anselmo Vasconcelos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lisboa FC's Fernando Aragão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the final whistle sounded SC Macedinho left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Lisboa FC.
